ABCE 2017
The 7th Arab Beverage Conference ABCE 2017 in cooperation with sure global fair and the international fruit and vegetable juice association (SGF – IFU) roadshow was held on the 29th and 30th of October in Dubai.
The ABCE 2017 commenced on the 29th with 3 sessions:
- The Global Beverage Industry
- Innovation and Renovation in the Beverage Industry
- The Beverage industry: Health, Safety, Regulations and Social aspects
Experts offered presentations dealing with: market growth and opportunities, safety and the latest legislative and recent developments, innovative packaging and technologies, future challenges and opportunities.
At the end of the first day a Gala Dinner was hosted in order to give participants the opportunity to exchange views and to make new contacts.
The second day was a technical workshop organized by the IFU where the speakers updated the audience with latest technological developments as well as quality control.
The conference ended up with a round table having the topic of “the future of the sector in the Arab countries: What is next?” Participants discussed the issues of the beverage industry in the view of the current economic situation, the new taxes and the innovation with respect to the new challenges.
