Scientific Committee

The ABA scientific committee is responsible for organizing and running the scientific programs.

Mission

Communicate with the Arab universities, select the active and promising young researchers in the field of Food Science and Technology and support developing their research.

Vision

  • Communicate with Arab Universities to foster among their students the core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, discipline and work ethics.
  • Support the training of highly qualified food science and technology graduates.
  • Support the rapid changes in the beverage industry and sustain the industrial and economic development of the beverage industry in the Arab countries.
  • Provide funding for a student research project.

Objectives

  • The committee will provide advice on developing a strategic plan with a focus on research.
  • The committee will promote awareness through nutrition education.
  • The committee will decide on the Student Best Poster Award.
  • The committee will provide the ABA with the recent research and the latest developments to enrich ABA’s website with information.
